  • Achieved 380% of annual target, six months into the FY21 financial year. 
  • Negotiated position in two successful government bids, secreting £320m of business over the next three years.
  • Managed complex multi-stakeholder negotiations, signing 20+ new partners ​and over performing on both individual and team targets.
  • Increased direct revenue pipeline by 20% in two months through outbound business development, ultimately driving portfolio growth. 
  • Developed on boarding material and successfully onboard two new hires supporting them to achieve on target performance within 6 weeks of hire. 
  • Researched and prepared bespoke presentations, pitched to senior stakeholders in HE and industry, owning the sales process from beginning to end. 
  • Represented FutureLearn at industry events and webinars to build partnerships and raised product awareness. ​
Business Development Executive

  • Initiated and coordinated company's involvement in multi-stakeholder consortia for government contract (total value £80m); managed company-wide internal communication for project.
  • Coordinated company presence at largest industry conference of the year, managing team of 12 which generated revenue 2.5 times the conference investment, and translated into over 3 month’s worth of organic, incoming leads over the course of two days.
  • Addressed all incoming inquiries -- qualified leads and fielded preliminary calls (approx. 50 per month). 
  • Researched and prepared bespoke presentations, pitched to C-Suite executives, authored proposals.
Customer Success Analyst - Educator Onboarding

  • Developed material to successfully onboard educational administrators to platform.
  • Contributed to User Interface (and UX) as part of the agile software development process.

Research Assistant
Western University, Faculty of Education - London, ON | February - May 2017
  • Conducted research under the supervision of Professor Melody Viczko at the Faculty of Education on the topic of "Mapping the influences of national and international actors in Canadian higher education". ​​
Educational Research Intern 
St. Michaels University School - Victoria, BC​ | January - March 2015
  • Designed, wrote and administered an inaugural ‘Young Alumni Survey’ distributed to five years of recent alumni to assess university preparedness and transitional experiences with over 60% response rate. 
  • Consolidated survey findings, and produced a board report that was used to guide the university counselling department in their continuous curriculum development and student advising services.
  • Synthesized research on experiential learning and leadership to aid in curriculum development and ultimately the creation of SMUS’s new experiential learning program now mandatory for all SMUS grade 10 students.

  • Conducted extensive research in best practises within international education and exchange to design and present a blueprint used as the basis for Carleton University’s new international student transition guide written in Fall 2014.

Special Projects Assistant
Fulbright Canada - Ottawa, ON | May - December 2016
  • Restructured the Foundation’s prospect research strategy by researching best practises within the field and developing a custom strategy for the foundation as part of a new overarching funding strategy.
  • Identified and conducted in-depth prospect research, compiling 15-20 page reports on over 50 companies to approach as future donors as part of the new prospect research strategy.
  • Reviewed over 70 individual webpages to illuminate redundancy of information and ensure most accurate and consistent data is presented on the website redundancy thereby contributing to the Foundation’s updated, user-friendly web presence launched in June 2016. 
  • Created, organized and optimized a searchable database of over 2000 individual entries, consisting of 25 years of the Foundation’s Student and Scholar grantees to facilitate a more connected Fulbright Alumni network, resulting in greater brand recognition (through alumni connections and referrals) and strength of organization..

  • Identified and contacted leaders in fields of Canadian aboriginal and indigenous affairs, Canada at 150, and STEM fields to establish partnerships for funding and creation of new academic exchange and research scholarships.

  • Managed a risk and assurance review for a large Russell Group university’s forthcoming strategic plan, designing and leading an interview program with senior stakeholders to identify critical issues. Developed a heat map highlighting key areas of concern and proposed mitigation strategies across 59 named initiatives.
  • Led a multi-stakeholder programme analysing and forecasting the future of the UK higher education sector, assessing financial stability risks and key influencing factors.
  • Conducted an in-depth market analysis for a UK university, identifying and prioritising target markets and programs to expand its online Postgraduate Taught education offering.

  • Defined and structured an E-learning platform where the underprivileged youth can learn English, acquire computer literacy, and receive additional guidance for their life projects. 
  • Gathered best practices from successful E-learning platforms employed by similar organization through researching relevant types of platform architectures and most effective e-learning tools.
  • Proposed optimal structure and design for client’s E-learning platform. Developed a brief outlining the goals, structure, and benefits of the E-learning platform, targeting client’s direct members (brochure) and potential partners.
  • Identified criteria for partner selection and suggested 2-3 E-learning tool providers for client to approach.​
