About

About Me

Hi, I’m Katelyn — a strategist, connector, and builder of bold ideas. World traveler, changemaker, and unapologetic glass-ceiling breaker.

Over the past 10+ years, I’ve worked at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and impact. My career has taken me across sectors and continents—from advising senior leaders on growth and transformation, to helping startups build new products, to delivering multi-stakeholder projects that span policy, technology, and social impact.
Whether designing strategic plans for public institutions, launching new market expansion initiatives, or coaching early-stage teams through moments of change, I bring analytical rigour, structured delivery, and a collaborative spirit to everything I do. I'm especially energised by early-stage challenges that are messy, complex, and high-stakes—the kind that require curiosity, clarity, and cross-functional alignment.
My foundation in public policy and international business has shaped how I approach systems-level change. I hold a dual MSc and MIM from Ivey Business School and CEMS – the Global Alliance in Management Education – where I studied and worked across four continents. I also hold a Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy Management from Carleton University, where I specialised in international studies and wrote my honours thesis on OECD policy transfer mechanisms in German education.
  • Strategy consultant advising leaders across the public and private sectors on operational improvement, market positioning, and organisational growth
  • Startup team member building and scaling digital learning products at mission-driven tech companies
  • Project lead managing end-to-end delivery across functions, time zones, and stakeholder groups.
  • Policy researcher, educator, and mentor working across culturally diverse teams and global contexts.

At present, I am balancing freelance consulting work with professional learning, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence. I am excited by the ways AI can reshape strategy and education, and I am building the skills to bring these insights into future client work.

What drives me?
→ Designing programs, systems and strategies that create real-world impact
→ Helping people, teams, and organizations grow with purpose
→ Building bridges between education, business, and social impact

→ Turning ambiguity into clarity, and plans into action

I bring curiosity, clarity, and a whole lot of heart to everything I do. I'm passionate about creating spaces for collaboration and growth, whether that means designing a cross-cultural learning initiative, streamlining operations for a social business, or mentoring students as they take their first steps into impact-driven work.

A Bit More About Me
Born in Australia, raised in Canada, and now having lived in 9 countries and 18 cities, I bring a global mindset and cultural fluency to everything I do. I’m fluent in English and German, and learning French, Portuguese, and Hungarian. I thrive in dynamic environments, value thoughtful communication, and believe deeply in the power of community, challenge, and lifelong learning.

Let’s Connect
I’m always open to meaningful conversations, collaborations, or new challenges, particularly at the intersection of business, tech, social impact, and global problem-solving. Whether you're a recruiter looking for a strategic leader or a collaborator with a bold idea, I’d love to hear from you.
